Ms Talane is an Associate Director in the Corporate Commercial department at the firm’s Johannesburg office. She was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2011 and assists the senior directors in all facets of their commercial practice.

She has garnered experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), structured and general finance (including loan transactions, preference shares and debt security structures), BEE transactions involving various funding and M&A characteristics and private equity transactions (including fund formation, M&As management arrangements, finance arrangements and post-formation investment transactions).

Ms Talane has advised financial institutions, development funding institutes, investment and private equity funds as well as government and governmental agencies. She also provides deal structuring advisory services to clients regarding commercial and contractual matters.

In addition, Ms Talane is a member of the panel of approved Provisional Liquidators and Trustees of the Master of the High Court of South Africa.
