Ms Mulangaphuma is a Partner at the firm’s Johannesburg office and the Head of the firm’s Corporate Banking and Finance department. She holds an LLM degree in Corporate Law from the University of the Witwatersrand and is an admitted attorney of the High court of South Africa.

Ms Mulangaphuma has more than 21 years’ experience of broad capabilities in banking and finance including project finance, corporate finance and syndicated lending representing domestic and international corporate entities in a broad range of transactions largely in the infrastructure market. Her expertise extends across a myriad of industry sectors and combines knowledge of PPPs, construction and project finance with expertise handling transactions.

She has advised sponsors, developers, financial institutions, investment funds, government and governmental agencies on projects and their financing across a wide range of industry sectors, with particular emphasis on the energy (including renewables) and the infrastructure sector. She further also provides business law advice to clients regarding commercial and contractual matters.

Ms Mulangaphuma is a fellow of the Cyrus R. Vance Centre of International Justice of The New York City Bar.
